The Hunguest Hotel Szeged (formerly Hunguest Hotel Forrás) is a conference and wellness hotel located just a 10-minute walk from downtown, in Újszeged, on the banks of the Tisza River in a beautiful suburban green area, directly connected to the Napfényfürdő Aquapolis Szeged spa complex.
The air-conditioned hotel’s 199 rooms include double rooms, connecting (family) rooms, specially designed accessible rooms, apartments, and luxury suites. The suites are equipped with a jacuzzi.

Our family-friendly hotel is an ideal choice for both families traveling with children and couples seeking a romantic wellness getaway. Directly connected to the hotel, the Napfényfürdő Aquapolis Szegedis a wellness, adventure, and medical complex with a capacity of 3,000 people, offering:

Catering and Gastronomy
Both our à la carte and bed-and-breakfast menus feature seasonally changing, regional, domestic, and international dishes. Our culinary experience is curated by our chef, Master Chef Ferenc Bálint, who won a gold medal in the team competition at the World Chef Championship in Luxembourg and a silver medal at the Culinary Olympics in Erfurt.
Our air-conditioned restaurant, with a capacity of nearly 400, also features a cozy terrace during the summer months. In our lobby bar, we offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, as well as specialty coffees and teas, to accompany our light bites. Our hotel’s restaurant, private rooms, and garden are ideal for hosting high-quality business and family events, whether it’s a conference for several hundred people, a wedding, or a family lunch.
Located in the hotel’s garden—which is unique in Szeged—is a party tent open from spring through fall, capable of accommodating 100 guests. By utilizing the garden’s full capacity, we can host business and family events, weddings, cocktail receptions, and open-kitchen barbecue parties for up to 300 guests to the highest standards.
A buffet breakfast is served from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., while main meals are served in our hotel restaurant from a buffet, as part of a set menu, or à la carte.

In the parking lot in front of the hotel (approx. 40 spaces) and in the Napfényfürdő Aquapolis underground garage (approx. 230 spaces): Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., 200 HUF per car per hour. Parking is available on the streets surrounding the hotel in accordance with the city’s paid parking regulations.
